Diani Beach named among the world's top 10 beaches for 2026

Kenya's south coast continues to earn global recognition, with new direct charter flights connecting Diani to several European capitals this summer.

Diani Beach has been ranked among the world's top 10 beaches for 2026 by a major international travel publication, citing its powdery white sand, turquoise water and laid-back coastal vibe.

The recognition comes as the south coast prepares for what local tourism boards expect to be its busiest summer season on record. New charter flights from Frankfurt, Zurich and Manchester begin operating in July.

Beyond the beach, Diani is gaining a reputation as a year-round destination for kitesurfing, scuba diving and day trips to the protected Kisite-Mpunguti Marine Park.
