Welcome to Vinem Tours & Travels. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website, mobile applications, and all travel services provided by Vinem Tours & Travels ('we', 'us', 'our').

By accessing our website, making a booking, or using any of our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.

Vinem Tours & Travels is a registered tour operator based in Nairobi, Kenya, specializing in car hire, safari tours, and hotel bookings across East Africa.

All bookings must be made through our official website, authorized travel agents, or directly via email/phone with our reservations team.

A booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of the required deposit or full payment as specified at the time of booking.

You must be at least 18 years of age to make a booking. By making a booking, you warrant that you have the authority to accept these terms on behalf of all travelers included in the booking.

It is your responsibility to ensure that all personal details, travel dates, and requirements provided at the time of booking are accurate and complete. Vinem Tours & Travels is not liable for errors caused by incorrect information provided by the customer.

All bookings are subject to availability. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any booking at our discretion.

Prices quoted on our website and in quotations are in Kenyan Shillings (KES) or US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless explicitly noted.

A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total booking value is required to confirm all safari and tour bookings. Car hire bookings require a 50% deposit. Hotel bookings may require full prepayment depending on the property's policy.

Full payment must be received no later than 30 days prior to the commencement of the service. For bookings made within 30 days of travel, full payment is required at the time of booking.

We accept payment via M-Pesa, bank transfer, credit/debit card, and cash at our Nairobi office. International wire transfers must include all associated bank fees.

All prices are subject to change without notice until a booking is confirmed with deposit payment. Confirmed bookings are protected against price increases except where government taxes, park fees, or fuel surcharges increase.

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation and refund policy is designed to be fair to both our clients and our business partners.

If you wish to modify your booking (dates, number of travelers, accommodation, or itinerary), you must submit your request in writing via email.

Modification requests made more than 30 days before departure may be accommodated subject to availability and may incur an administrative fee of KES 5,000 per change.

Modifications requested within 30 days of departure are treated as cancellations and rebookings, and standard cancellation terms apply.

Vinem Tours & Travels reserves the right to make minor itinerary adjustments due to weather, road conditions, park closures, or supplier circumstances. We will notify you of any significant changes as soon as possible.

Vinem Tours & Travels acts as an intermediary between clients and service providers (hotels, lodges, airlines, vehicle suppliers, park authorities). We are not liable for the acts, errors, omissions, or failures of these third-party suppliers.

Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all bookings. We can assist in arranging comprehensive travel insurance upon request.

Vinem Tours & Travels is not liable for: personal injury, loss of life, property damage, delays, or itinerary changes caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control including but not limited to: natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, pandemics, government restrictions, or supplier bankruptcy.

All clients participating in safari activities do so at their own risk. Wildlife is unpredictable, and all safety instructions provided by guides must be followed. We are not liable for injuries sustained during game drives, bush walks, or other safari activities.

Vehicle hire clients are responsible for any damage caused by negligent driving. A security deposit may be required for self-drive rentals.

All travelers must comply with the laws of Kenya and any countries visited during their itinerary.

Respect for wildlife, local communities, and cultural norms is mandatory. Harassment of wildlife, littering in national parks, or disrespectful behavior toward staff or local communities may result in immediate termination of services without refund.

Clients are responsible for ensuring they hold valid passports, visas, vaccination certificates, and any other required travel documentation. Vinem Tours & Travels is not responsible for denied entry due to inadequate documentation.

Smoking is prohibited in all company vehicles and in most safari lodges and camps. Please adhere to each property's specific policies.

If you have a complaint during your trip, please notify your guide or our office immediately so that we have the opportunity to address the issue promptly.

Formal complaints must be submitted in writing within 14 days of the conclusion of your trip. We will acknowledge receipt within 3 business days and aim to resolve the matter within 21 business days.

In the event that a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya and governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya.

These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and Vinem Tours & Travels regarding your use of our services.

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with the effective date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
