Nairobi National Park is the world’s only national park located within a capital city. Just a short drive from the city center, it offers a unique chance to see Africa’s iconic wildlife with the Nairobi skyline in the background. The park hosts lions, rhinos, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, antelopes, and over 400 bird species.
📍 6:00 AM – Hotel Pick-Up / Departure
Your driver-guide picks you up from your hotel or residence in Nairobi. Enjoy a short drive (15–30 minutes) to the park entrance.
🦓 6:30 AM – Game Drive Begins
Enter the park and start your safari adventure. Early morning is the best time to spot lions, hyenas, and other predators before the sun gets too hot. You’ll also see herds of zebra, giraffe, buffalo, and possibly black rhinos.
📸 8:30 AM – Scenic Stop
Pause at one of the park’s viewpoints, such as the Ivory Burning Site Monument, for photos and to learn about Kenya’s conservation history.
☕ 9:30 AM – Short Break
Option to visit the park’s picnic site for coffee or snacks (carry your own or request packed breakfast from your hotel).
